Vision

To tackle the negative influences and nudges at multiple levels (Community, interpersonal and Individual) by diligently focusing on multiple aspects including behavioural, regulatory, marketing and food environment.

Objectives

Organising

Organising a series of 5 technical e-webinars on children and adolescent obesity – influence of Food marketing by engaging different stakeholder groups including advertising professionals, health policy makers, marketers, manufacturers, food regulators , parents groups and adolescents as well as children

Collaboration

Collaborating with UNICEF and other organisations like IIPH and IEG in an advisory role for preparing protocols and collecting primary data from adolescents for identifying key nudges of healthy and unhealthy eating to create a national database.

Development

To develop policies on discouraging, marketing and advertising of unhealthy foods and promoting healthy foods to adolescents and children.

Supportive

Playing supportive and advisory roles in reviewing published literature to prepare the background papers for policy advocacy being pit together by the institute of economic growth (IEG) , obesity working group, and like minded organisations with UNICEF support.
